Welcome to my website!
My aim on this site is to entertain and educate you about gardening. I have spent a lifetime being passionate about propagating and growing plants and I would love to share the knowledge I have gained with you. There are a number of features to the site that you may want to explore so have a read below about some of the features. I am especially excited about an idea I have been experimenting with at home called deep (long stem) planting.

You can also check-out my new venture and website: Gardening with Angus. Alongside GardeningWithAngus.com.au I am working on a website called Find-a-plant, a free-to-use online plant database. (Both websites are being developed in partnership with the Home Design Directory.)
I also want to link you with other exciting people and places such as my absolute favourite Australian plant garden at Vaughan's Australian Plants Nursery at Curlewis in Geelong.
Victoria. As well as carrying an amazing range of rare and unusual native plants they also carry all the old favourites and reliable ones as well. My good friend Phillip Vaughan is a leader in the development and domestication of new Australian plants and I thank he and his family for allowing me to use their garden in my book Creating an Australian Garden, both on the cover and inside.

Tours
I am now taking tours to spots that catch my fancy.
In February we will be going to the Australian Alps to check out the wildflowers, then in May a tour of the gardens of Italy followed by the Chelsea Flower Show in London.
